Philson Wins 2nd DEP Award!
Congratulations to TeamPhilson for achieving another GreenCircle Award from the State of Connecticut’s Department of Environmental Protection!
Philson Incorporated was one of thirty-one state organizations or corporations that were awarded the prestigious DEP GreenCircle recognition for environmental compliance and pollution prevention efforts.
Philson Incorporated was recognized for the second year in a row by the DEP for eliminating in-process mercury thermometers, sponsoring the second Steele Brook River Clean Up and replacing a number of inefficient motors and drives with energy efficiency devices that reduced energy and fuel dependency.
Emsar Stratford and Emsar Torrington additionally won GreenCircle awards at the ceremony for recycling waste and using an alternative parts washer that used less than half of the solvents required.
Philson’s ISO 14001 Certification planned for later this year is an automatic GreenCircle recognition for 2004!
Philson Wins 5th DEP Award!
Team Philson does it again! This is the 5th consecutive year that we have won the prestigious GreenCircle Award from the State's DEP. This year, we contributed to the environment by conducting our fifth annual Steelebrook River Clean up held on Earth Day.
